“What I loved about Beyond Academy and why I choose them is because they are more flexible and more individually tailored to what each person is looking for, rather than just a generalised experience. My group and the entire Beyond community has been really welcoming. I am so lucky to be able to have this experience with people that are similar, as in we are all looking to grow personally, grow professionally and also just enjoy every moment. Everyone here has left behind the familiar and has come to the unfamiliar which can be scary, but when you have a community as good as this, it’s not scary at all.”
Hannah from the United States
PR & Journalism Intern, London Immersive Program
“I am involved in Project Management, which is close to what I want to do in the future. One of my favorite parts of my internship is that I’m taken seriously. In the sense that after building up some trust and showing the company what I have to offer, What was great was that I was able to work on a project from start to finish and really get to know the while process, that really gives me a feeling of accomplishment.”
Karin from Austria
Project Management Intern, Tokyo Immersive Program
“My experience so far here has been amazing, it’s just a shock how much I have been enjoying it. The interns are amazing here so we have been hanging out and getting to know each other and exploring Seoul. It’s really just been a full experience that I have been embracing every single day. I work in a team who creates content relating to K-pop. My favourite part of interning is getting to know my coworkers, being around a group of people that are just so kind and inviting, working alongside them every day has been the best experience. I had been hearing about Beyond Academy for quite some time and I read some really great reviews. I wanted to get the work and life balance, which Beyond offered. My favourite thing about Beyond are the connections I have made here and also the events that have been planned, it gets all of us out to embrace Korean culture.”
Jordan from the United States
Marketing Intern, Seoul Immersive Program
“I would recommend Beyond Academy because overall its such an incredible experience. Its not like studying abroad through school because you are really immersed in it, you are here living and working and it really gives you the opportunity to feel like you are making headway in your career. ”
Francesca from the United States Theatre Production Intern, London Immersive Program
“I have learnt an insane amount over the last two months. Having been at Uni for two years, I have learnt so much more in a short space of time. I love the fact that so much effort has gone into us having a such a good time. My overall experience so far has been incredible, the balance between working and having fun with friends, and the accommodation has just been great.”
Kim from South Africa

“I knew with Beyond I was in safe hands, the communication I got form day one was amazing. Thankfully I got put into an excellent internship in investment firm, and I am loving it so far, I love using the insights and experiences that I have learnt in my degree and putting that to use in the workplace.”
