A Professional Internship
A remote internship gives you sound insights into the business practice of your chosen location, plus real-world skills you can use anywhere (virtually or physically). To navigate the logistical challenges of global time zones and remote working, your internship will follow a structured training plan.
You’ll engage in collaborative projects and participate in virtual meetings with your team during overlapping work hours, ensuring effective communication and mentorship. Your host company supervisor will also check in with you from time to time, to make sure you feel engaged and progress throughout the internship.
We offer full-time remote internships for a maximized learning experience. However, if you need more flexibility to work around school commitments, we can tailor and adapt this to fit your needs. Certified Career Coach
Our qualified coach will take you through a 1-to-1 coaching session. Tailored around you, your coach will walk through the plans, goals, and aspirations for your career. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore who you want to be, both professionally and personally.
You can schedule it around your diary, which is bound to be pretty full, so you can talk about what is most important to you. Do it at the beginning of the program to focus on making the most of the internship.
A mid-term session is great if you want to talk about how you’re finding things. Take it towards the end if some self-reflection and forward-planning are in order.
Host Company Supervisor
Depending on the industry and nature of your internship, you may be working as part of a project team, or managing your own tasks alongside other colleagues. Either way, you will be in regular contact with your assigned supervisor from the host company.
We have carefully designed a remote internship training plan, which we share with all our partnering companies. At the start of your internship, your supervisor will sit down with you to finalise the plan. You may discuss your role in upcoming projects, or your daily responsibilities.
More importantly, with your goals in mind, your supervisor will make sure that you progress surely and steadily throughout the internship.
Dedicated Beyond Mentor
To ensure that you feel supported and engaged throughout the entire virtual program experience, your dedicated Beyond mentor will check in with you on a biweekly basis during your program duration.
