Our Team

Meet the Beyond management team.

Ryan left school at 16, with barely any qualifications to a gardening job. He realised that he wanted more and taught himself the skills needed to get a ‘professional’ job.

He joined KPMG at 17 where he spent 6 years in a number of roles, the most recent was in the Advisory consulting team where he lead several large scale client projects for some of the worlds biggest brands. He left KPMG to join a rapidly growing tech firm in London where he oversaw new products.

Shortly after, at 23 he moved to Hong Kong where he spent 6 years. Initially as a director of a tech startup where he lead a team of 20+. Next he joined some friends in building and scaling The Intern Group to 14 locations globally.

Ryan also owned one of Hong Kong’s most popular cafe companies, and has provided consulting to Private Equity Companies in Asia. In 2018 he sold out of his businesses and followed his dream of moving to Tokyo.

David has served in a number of senior leadership roles and was the CEO of a leading compliance advisory firm, The Red Flag Group (300+ employees), before successfully coordinating and advising on its sale to a major global multinational.

While based in China, he established his own advisory practice serving multinational companies operating in China and various Asia-Pacific emerging markets. Partnerships + Design

Zahra is a post-disciplinary artist and designer, with a BA Design degree from Goldsmiths University of London. Born into an Iranian family on diplomatic mission in Harare, Zimbabwe, along with Persian heritage, she has had a British upbringing and Viennese schooling.

Having had her first solo exhibition aged 17, at the Museum of Young Art in Vienna, she discovered a desire to form identity without distinctive or localizable origin. Zahra considers Art and Design fertile grounds for any social-transformational project – despite, or perhaps thanks to its potential for self-erasure.

Having enrolled in a postgraduate at the Vienna University of Applied Arts, she started an internship at a cross-disciplinary design agency which soon lead to her employment. Later she quit to become self-employed and to pursue her development as an Artist.

After 4 years, she was employed by an international corporate company, performing graphic design, art direction, project management and production. All the while it was important to her to maintain her progress as an independent artist and creative.
