No. For programs in Japan and South Korea, most participants can enter visa-free for up to 90 days. Ensure your passport is eligible for visa-free entry. Our admissions team will be able to help you with any questions during your admissions call.

Japan and South Korea offer visa-free entry to many countries, including but not limited to the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and EU member states.

If you’re not from a visa-free country, unfortunately, you won’t be able to join our program at this time. However, we’re actively working to expand our eligibility, so stay tuned for updates!

Our language courses are designed to be intensive, with three hours of class time every day, plus some homework and several cultural activities each week to practice what you’re learning. Your deposit is non-refundable. Below is an outline of the refund policy for the remaining program fees (excluding the deposit). Please note, as we make several upfront bookings and payments to secure accommodation, courses, and other program inclusions, we must adhere to this policy:

– 120 or more days before start date: 75% refund
– Between 90 and 119 days before start date: 50% refund
– Between 60 and 89 days before start date: 25% refund
– Less than 60 days before start date: No refund

No, accommodation is an optional add-on. Prices are available on location pages.

Accommodation options vary, but typically include student housing, shared apartments, or co-living spaces. All of our accommodation partners are carefully vetted to ensure a high standard.

No, all of our accommodations provide private rooms.

Private rooms include bedding and WiFi for the duration of your program.

We aim to place you within 30–60 minutes of your classes, though this may vary. We will assign the best accommodation option based on your preferences and needs. You will be informed of the details prior to your start date.

Unfortunately not. All rooms are provided on a sole occupancy basis and therefore you will not be allowed to have anyone stay with you.

Your accommodation will depend on the location and property type. We aim to place participants in the same locations whenever possible. In most cases, you’ll be sharing with fellow, students, interns (from our Intern Abroad Program) or young professionals.
